- Undertake revision of electoral rolls for all parliamentary and local government constituencies to ensure electoral rolls are inclusive and error free.
- Decide cases relating to inclusion or exclusion of voters from the electoral roll in consultation with the Dzongkhag Election Officer and Department of Electoral Registration & Information and Technology.
- Receive claims and objections relating to voter registration and electoral roll and take necessary actions in consultation with the DzEO and DoERIT.
- Print, publicize and distribute electoral rolls to Election Officials in consultation with the DzEO.
- Assist Dzongkhag Electoral Officer in the discharge of his/ her functions.
- Manage coordination between central, regional, and local stakeholders to strengthen institutional service delivery.
- Guide and supervise thorough checking of EVMs and identify non-functional EVMs to be surrendered to the Administration and Finance Division (AFD) of the ECB, in consultation with the DzEO upon obtaining consent from the Dzongdag.
- Maintain detailed election records of the Dzongkhag and archive for future reference.
- Assist in preparing annual budget for carrying out electoral activities in the Dzongkhag.
- Prepare Individual Work Plan in alignment with Five-Year plan as well as ECB’s mandate.
- Assist in preparing detailed election reports of the respective Dzongkhag and submit them to the Policy and Planning Division (PPD) within the stipulated timeline.
- Assist oversee the implementation of constitutional and institutional mandates with emphasis on transparency and accountability.

- Strengthened electoral preparedness in maintaining zero election dispute Dzongkhag.
